Any ponds in Northern California?

I’m trying to find a pond I can fish for fun since where I live has the worst ponds ever. I live in Rohnert Park California and I’m looking for a pond that is within around 30 min of driving. I’m only 14 so I’m pretty limited on where I go. If you own a pond and would give me permission that would be nice too. I am looking for a new pond because all I have are a duck pond at a university which has some fish but not a lot. Same thing with this golf course pond but your not supposed to even fish it and it’s still not good because weird people take fish out of there. We have a lake but it’s more of a pond. Even that sucks. That’s the only place I haven’t caught a fish. It’s sad because I’ve heard of big fish in there but There are so many ducks and poop everywhere. Garbage is littered along the ground and you will have some homeless and some people smoking weed around the lake too. I was talking to a guy and he told me people throw heroine needles in the lake. It’s sad to see. I come from a town in Indiana littered with amazing ponds and a fabulous lake. I will fish Spring Lake and other places too but I just want a little pond to myself. I would definitely go to Clear Lake more if it wasn’t an hour and thirty minutes away. If anyone has any recommendations I would appreciate them. I know I am not gonna get many if not no replies because this is so specific but I know this is a place to go when you need info and I might as well give it a shot. Thanks to anyone who reads this and I hope you have a great day ?.

Is Berryessa closed? On google earth, how is Laguna Lake? There is nice pond off Lichua Road east of town. do you know any kids that own farms, hit the farm ponds and reservoirs. Little pond off of Petaluma Hill Rd. I see a bunch of small ponds over by the Diamond A Ranch estates. I see ponds west of Windsor High school. By the wineries. Dude, you have plenty of spots. Find the best one and enjoy it. The key is to ask your friends at school. It's not what you know, who you know.

you fished that pond near Bear Republic Brewery?  or is this the heroin needle lake?

how about Fountain Grove lake?  decent shore fishing, and i just say a guy pull out a big bass near the dam.

dont forget the Russian River!  you can hike for a day, casting to deeper pools and pull out smallmouth bass.

I totally agree with this just there’s one problem. I just moved here and literally know 3 people and they don’t fish. Also I can’t go to school because mine is online and it’s not optional. Thank you for the suggestions too I’ll look into them.

That’s the heroine needle lake. I’ve gone to fountain grove twice and have only caught one small one. It looks good but all the catches I’ve seen have come on kayaks and like floats. I might just be making up excuses cuz I’m cheeks at fishing. I do want to try the Russian River though and catch my first Smsmallmouth so I’ll look into it. Thanks for the reply.

I do but the reason I am asking is I’d rather have permission but I will sneak into ponds when I want to. Also to see if anyone knows of stacked ponds.

Several ponds and public areas west of Windsor along the Russian River. This both wine, horse country and golfing. I recall a nice looking lake near the town Shiloh. Get permission.

I crushed them this afternoon.  All my fish were within casting distance of the shoreline you can cast from. The further dam   The clearing closest to the golf course.  Cast a drop shot towards the horizon.
