I did go out this weekend. I caught a chain pickerel and a bass on Saturday, and just missed a good sized bass on Sunday. All in all, a good weekend.

    I got to go fishing Monday as planned. I finally had a little bit of luck to end the longest skunk streak I have ever had.

    I caught one about 14" on the first cast I made with a spinnerbait.

     

    This was my second cast of the day as we just had gotten started. Caught another one about 15" on the spinnerbait. I can't remember the last time I caught a fish in a spinnerbait. Guess I need to start using them again.

     

    Also caught a nice crappie and a bream later on the spinnerbait and caught another crappie and a bream later on a crankbait.

     

    I was using a War Eagle Sreamin Eagle in Spot Remover color. This has been an excellent color for me when I used It.

     

    I'm sorry @12poundbass didn't catch anything but I'm glad the skunk went to Michigan and left me alone for a change. Get to end the year on a positive note.
