Shimano Parts

I was getting ready to order parts for a few reels that I getting ready to work on and noticed on Shimano website that they only seem to have parts for current reels.  For example, I ordered a few things for my Curado G last earlier this year and they only list the K and DC now.

Anybody know what's going on?

Contact Dan Isaac at Reel Ex.

How are you looking for the parts? I ordered parts for a Citica I not long ago. Just had to search by exact part number.

Find a schematic and search by part number on the Shimano website.

I see what you are saying by putting in the part number but the way I was looking was under parts tab then low profile (see link above).  It only shows schematics for the current reels.   It use to bring up each reel as far back as the Curado D time frame.

I've never ordered a part from them for a reel that is still available on the website. Always have to do the search, copy/paste.

Wow ya you are correct, they changed the parts selection. Thats weird, I just ordered a bunch of parts in October so it much have been done in the last couple months. Thats a bummer...

Plat in Nagasaki is a great source for parts, great Japan braid, lures, rods, Yumeya and SLP upgrade parts.

With the current postal crunch, since April they have only been shipping to US with DHL Express, which gets here in just a few days, so order enough stuff $20 shipping worthwhile.
