Live target bait ball

Featured Replies

I had two of them. Never got a bite from them.

Had multiple times I would fish an area with the baitball with no bites.

Would go back through the area with an a rig or spinnerbait and catch multiple fish.

Instead of attracting fish it repels them.

Those two baitballs now reside in my tackle hall of shame, along with about every other live target bait I have purchased.

I’ve had two of them in white pearl, lost one in the sticks…?

Came across fish in the back of coves that were busting the surface on bait in the fall.

Caught fish both times I tried it.

I’ve tried it in other situations when a spinnerbait would be a good presentation and had no luck

I don't have that but I agree with Russ E, live target bait has never produced fish for me either.

?I’ve never caught a largemouth with one.

?I’ve had white bass hit them.

I've fallen for the LiveTarget trap too many times. They look so nice and realistic, but they fish don't agree. I'm sure some of their baits catch fish, but I've owned several of their baits and I can't remember a single fish I caught with one.

I have Live Target frogs that do catch fish, but, I would never buy any of their other baits.

I have that bait, not a fan as the hook on it is tiny!

I agree they are great at catching fishermen.

This is one guy who has moved on to other baits.
