I’ve watch a bit of coverage and it sure is nice to see big bass being pulled in. Seeing those guys in shorts makes me a little jealous

 

Ill be honest though these early season bed fishing tournaments aren’t my favorite. Sight fishing just isn’t as compelling

I live on the St. John’s but further south in Debary. 

Fog cleared early this morning. Past 2 days couldn’t see 100 yards. Water’s warming up quick. Mid 50’s last week and upper 60’s yesterday. Going tomorrow. They hit it right except for the afternoon storms but heck it Florida. 

Good to see Mark Menendez fishing on day three.

He missed a while.

They just showed a clip from two years ago of him getting some great fish at this same venue, AND He was wearing THE EXACT SAME OUTFIT as he's in today !

Right down to the hat, buff, shoes & socks.

I saw Cliff catch that one, and the guys talked about 2016 when he had the live-well issue...that's gotta be heartbreaking. And Cliff talking about it...and it still bugs him.

I couldn’t stand watching it I had to go fishing. It’s 36° and pouring rain and I don’t see any cypress trees Hahahaha

And my home-town boy runs up the ladder to make the cut.
