So I’m a beginner fisher and I’m looking in to by a jig. Our water here is a bit dirty to muddy. I already have White Keitech swimbaits but I’m willing to buy a different trailer if needed! Does anyone have any suggestions on to fish with a white trailer or just any jig and trailer for murky water? Also what water clarity should a bluegill color jig and what jig trailer color would work well?

Just mix and match them my man and have fun. You’ll probably catch something.

Why don't you try it?

Are you talking swim jig or flipping/pitching style jig?

If flipping/pitching, most wouldn't use a Keitech for that technique. Those are better suited for swim jigs.

If fishing muddy/dirty water, I prefer a black/blue trailer. Not saying white won't work. But I prefer dark colors in dirty water.

Try them out and see what the fish prefer. "Experiment and see what works for you" is a phrase I often use/hear with fishing. If it seems crazy, but works, who cares.

I don’t know what jig what is best for imitating a bluegill and sometimes a crawfish? What about a mini jig would that work well with a Keitech swimbait?
