Has anyone used one of these rods? it has more guides than a reg rod, was wondering how line would come thur more eyes.

Ill take micros on all future rod purchases if given the choice.

I prefer micro guides, until it's really cold out. They're awful when it gets icy outside.

Have several rods with micro guides, even my swimbait rod has them that I use 20 lb mono on. Casting isn't an issue.

Some folks don't like the micro guides that use leaders, as some knots won't pass through the smaller guides real well.

 also challenging in the spring when the cottonwoods let loose. otherwise no problems
