I thought I lost my net.  It was on the neighbor ’s hedges.  I left it there when I hosed out my kayak.  Duh.  I ordered a replacement, and then while it was coming in the mail - I found my net!

anyways. I gather parts. My friend had a lot of scrap aluminum tubing.  He hooked me up.  I hate the thought Of spreading invasive things, so I sealed it off from water and filled the handle with foam. I WISH I had the lime yellow handle wrap, but no - BLUE/BLACK.  I think it looks okay.

this new one is better than my old one simply for the fact the handle isn’t as girthy.  It will fit the Yak-Attack paddle holder.

now to slide a giant bass into it :)

I did the same with my net that’s like yours. I trying to find a pure rubber net to replace the rubber coated stock net that I keep getting treble hooks stuck in

I'm planning on doing the same with mine but with PVC.

I’ll find out in about an hour.  Going fishing.
‘’But it floated before and I added an alum tube filled with foam wrapped in tape that floats. The math works out.  My other net that is heavier and uses PVC floats.

Confirmed. It floats.  It really floats. Like you feel the buoyancy  trying to push it underwater.

and I slimed it.
