Depends on what you're throwing at.

Light under spin 1/8-3/8 if you fish from bank,  3/8-3/4 if you fish from floating device.

depends on water temp and where but usually if itts windy you can get them to hit a moving bait. bladed jig, jerk bait crankbait etc.

Rattletrap

This is what I am faced with tomorrow.  80 degree high with 20-30 mi/hr winds with gusts up to 40.  My gameplan is a variety of swimbaits, a swimjig, a crankbait, and a dropshot with a 1/2 oz sinker.  Probably tie on a C-rig.  Think I'll be fishing fast moving baits all day long.  Might have to put the Talon down if it's as bad as I fear.

Chatterbait in shallow areas. Wacky rig with a little weight in deeper water( like a neko)...no weight in shallow.

Everything works on warm windy days, take your pick for the structure , cover depth you like to fish.

If it’s a high pressure front following spring cold front think deeper and slower.

Thank you, sir!  I used a med sized Baby one minus, and she didn't mess around.

Indeed. I also threw a Strike King Rage Cut-R Hard Candy 7", and she apparently liked my offering.

Even caught a catfish on a swimming worm which is a bit unusual as I've never experienced that before.

Now I see them - nice catches all around.

Crankbait, swim jig/paddletail, chatterbait, buzzbait.
