What are you guys using? Looking for the most snag resistant as possible

Where did you get your tubing that cheap?

I'm interested too. I've made a few, but due to the expandable material, they were very cost prohibitive.

TW socks are pretty good for the money.  They have an elastic band that you loop over the reel handle to keep the sock from riding up.  Not sure why every rod sock doesn't have them.

I made mine with expanded tubing, shrink wrap & kitchen stove flame.  Cost about $1.00 each. YouTube shows you how.

Picture please.

I would, but I’m technology challenged.....can barely use my iPad!

1) order a 100 ft.roll of 1” expanded braided sheathing from either eBay or Amazon-mine ran about $20/roll.

2) get some 1/2” shrink wrap from Walmart, etc.

3) cut an appropriate length of tubing for the rod sock—just needs to go below the last guide.

4) CAREFULLY heat one open end and expand the end by forcing it over something like a beer bottle neck—seals the fibers & makes inserting the rod easier.
5) cut about 1” of the shrink wrap and insert it over the other end, then melt it .

‘Each sock runs about $1-2, and works well. At this cost, you really don’t mind them flying out of the boat!  Remember....YouTube is your friend!

So you are actually talking about shrink tubing instead of shrink wrapping, correct?

Yes, I misstated the term.  I just checked on Amazon and you can buy a 100 ft roll for $21, plus tax. I first used a step drill bit to expand the lower end, but lost it & now just use a beer bottle. I’d recommend wearing one glove also. Look on YouTube before you start—many people have done this-most better than me!

I really like the 6th sense rod sleeves. Neoprene and have an adjustable cord to poop around the reel handle. Retail for like 10 bucks.

I bought some cheapos on amazon in bulk. They work for storing rods in the hull of my kayaks with reels.

This year, I bought a Daiwa Steez AGS rod and that came with a real nice one. So I bought a couple of these Elite brand rod sleeves for the Tatula Elite AGS rods I purchased, since they stay on nice without a reel to hook onto. They are more expensive, but they serve their intended purpose. If you're interested, see the links below.

I have some concerns using neoprene covers, Ive them for all of my good rods(I upgrade them from normal plastic covers), And I noticed that they are heavy and you are a guy that leaning your rods to the wall or stand them, The actual weight of neoprene covers will slightly bend the lower action rods like M action to down. I didn't see same effect on MH and up action rods.

Just want to let you know.
