Actually, the compass in the pic has a scriber tip instead of a graphite marking tip. Go round-and-round scribing through the sheet until you get done...takes a lot of turns.

 

The set-tip of the compass makes an small hole...Royobi 18v with the right size TiN coated drill bit enlarges it to the proper size.

 

The Exacto is just to trim up if needed.
