Bass tackle for Trout

Featured Replies

Gents, I was lucky to find a camp on a fantastic trout fishery…..the only problem is that it feels like I am starting all over from the beginning.  It’s been 40 years since I trolled .

I know jerk baits can be used, but what are some of the other baits that are dual purpose.

I am placing order for lead line, today……I have officially become my father?

I caught nice ones this season on a #5 shad rap. Totally by accident.

Size 3 Mepps spinner will catch both

For trolling try a Floating Rapala on a Carolina rig.

If you have ‘em, Rebel Wee Crawfish, Wee Warts, and Speedtraps.

Ive done good drop shotting small plastics and a ned rig can be deadly when they're holding tight to the bottom.

Kastmaster should be able to catch both and cast able on bass gear. Tiny rattle trap?

They love a Ned rig, but I've caught them on all kinds of stuff fishing for bass. Caught one on a 3/8oz bladed jig this year. I've caught several on 1/2oz lipless, wiggle warts, even caught 2 of them on 1/2oz flipping jigs. Stocker trout are kind of like Forrest Gump.
