The HELICOPTER!

Featured Replies

So I managed to acquire a whole mess of Roland Martin's Helicopter lures (for free) over the weekend.  Never really paid any attention to them and now that I understand it's basically a  gimmicky buzzbait, I can't wait to actually give this thing a try.  For a laugh, of course, but I can see where this thing might actually work in areas I might usually throw a toad.  I guess we'll see!

I think you overpaid ?

Was at a lake and two guys were fishing under the bridge and they had a mess of huge crappie

They had the helicopter on a ned looking hook and just dropped them down besides the pillars

These things work; my buddy used to use them all the time and do well on bass.

They work . Had a couple of fisherman come over and ask what I was catching my bass on , gave them a few . A year or so later they introduced themselves as the one's I had given the Helicopters to and the had success enough to buy some on their own.
