Advantage of beads for Texas rigs?

I've gone thru cycles of using beads and not using them several times over the years. Never really noticed and uptick in bites either way or I guess I'd stick with that way. For those that always use beads what are the advantages you see?

I always have a rod rigged up with a Texas rig/bead when fishing stained to dirty water. I feel that little clicking sound helps the fish hone in on the bait easier. In clear water, I never use one.

I generally use 2 beads.  One glass.  One metal.  For that little bit of click.  Picked it up from a buddy years ago.  Does it help?  I dunno but I know I've caught a lot of fish with that rig

Aside from murky water, I also use a glass bead when targeting the edges of weed beds. I use a stopper about 3in. above the sinker to help reduce the possibility of the weeds catching between the weight and worm on an errant cast. Seems to help when conditions are tough.

I use an orange plastic bead. I use it to protect the knot. I will be experimenting with black beads. On a T-Rig, especially with certain plastics, I think the plastic bead gives a tiny bit of lift that increases flutter and stays higher up in the water. Without the bead, the action is different. The bait goes deeper. Sometimes the hook doesn’t center, depending on the bullet weight. I can’t say what works better because I always use the bead.

I've tried beads in the past, with a bead and brass weight. They might help in muddy, stained water, but most times I just go without the bead. I havnt noticed much difference in fish caught with a bead

when using a flipping tube (Texas rigged tube), I use a bead for the clicking noise, no idea if it helps get bites, but it sure has caught me

I have before, but I don't anymore. I just don't see much advantage. If I was flipping really stained water, I might try it. The last one I used was black glass and it broke.

The bead should. Eva glass hear treated faced 8 mm for Sliding bullet weight. Both  painted brass or tungsten, not lead, create a click every time the weight hits the bead.

Holographic glass faced beads reflect light plus add sound, nothing negative, all positive.

I don’t fish a sliding weight T-rig or Slip Shot rig without a bead.
