I picked up a penn wrath 4000 on sale for $20. I just thought why not, I have some line I can put on it, but I need some rod recommendations.

       Like @Catt always says, "Rods cast lures. Reels store line." The lures you want to cast are  interwoven with your choice of rod.     jj

    You can get a penn MH 7' rod, So you'll have match combo and a rod can throw almost everything.
