You will be surprised how many areas have been "Stocked" by someone.  Back where I grew up a water catchment pond was created by the County.  Probably a year after it filled, my buddy and I were driving by and there as a guy tossing in fish over the fence into it.  Maybe a few years later, my buddy and I hopped the fence to fish it, and caught a number of bass and bluegill out of there.

Yeah that sounds like what could of happened, here in california we arent allowed to transplant fish from one body of water to another, or even for our own pond or aquarium which is kind of silly, the only legal way to get bluegill in your pond or aqarium is to bring it in from an outside sorce like nevada or arizona lol.

If I'm not mistaken, even that would be illegal, because you would transporting game fish on Cali land, unless you got a permit  to do so.

It would be your right, I forgot to mention you have to buy it from a licensed pet dealer in another state, like a pet-co or person raising fish with a license privatley

Yup. With areas like this scattered about. Even with the lake down close to 150 feet, it's still around 25 feet deep about a boat length away from this wall. I left this one pretty big so you can see more detail if you click on it.

There were a couple of old plastics hanging from it. Describe it to me and I'll grab it for you ;~)

Here in the eastern jungles, I cut down a small holly tree years ago that was up against my house. Then I dug the rootball out of the ground and I store a canoe upside down on top of the area. To this day when I flip the canoe over, there are little holly trees growing under it. Quite the contrast
