For me I only go, "wow, that's sensitive" with braid. YZH is an excellent line and is basically the same as any other in the sensitivity department. It's strong, ties good knots, and is super manageable if you spray it down with KVD L&L.

So is their any benefit switching from big game to yo Zuri hybrid? I have no complaints with big game other than overall sensitivity.

YZH and BG are my primary lines. You know what makes my decision for me? Do I want this to float or not (because YZH can kind of suspend rather than float or sink).

And that is the primary reason I have YZH on my crank-rigs. Barely affects the running depth of the lure...if at all.

It's a very budget friendly line, but unlikely one that you'd toss in the trash if it's isn't everything you were looking for.  12# will do just about everything, but check out their diameters relative to other lines.  Not much risk in making the purchase.

For me it's a good fit for a crankbait rod that you know you will be respooling often.  If I need sensitivity, I'm going to throw fluoro.

I think you will like Yo-Zuri Hybrid.

Try it it’s inexpensive line, nothing to loose.

If it's any help. 5 or 6 years ago when YoZuri had the Soft and regular hybrid lines, I used the soft for fresh and salt. I did much more drop shotting back then, and I recall that the sensitivity was pretty good, among other things.

I'd give it a try, for the $$ not much to lose.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your input. Stopped by my local tackle shop and picked up a spool of 10lb yo Zuri hybrid and of course a few other things. Will give it a try and see how it performs.
