How many rod brands do you use?

Rainshadow is the name of blanks you can purchase from https://www.rainshadowrodblanks.com/

and build your rod with personally selected parts. It's not a pre-built rod like a Dobyns or St. Croix.

Thanks! I do know that they’re blanks, I just didn’t see anywhere to actually purchase them on their website.

They don't sell direct - but you can get them from certain dealers

Jann's Netcraft has a selection.

HFF Custom Rods also has a selection

On Rainshadow's site - go to the 'Find a Dealer' tab, click on the states colored in and you'll get the list of dealers in those states that sell Rainshadow blanks.

All my rods, save for one Berkeley, are Cabela's branded...purchased in the 1990's.

Several buddies worked at Cabela's corporate in Sidney, NE.

I'm told this generation rods were made at same factory as Loomis, with same blanks...just branded Cabela's.

They have served me well for 25+ years.

I own 10 brands and pared it down to three that I use 99% of the time.  A few brands are retired to the shed.

Like others, I use the rod I think is best for what I'm fishing that day.
