It absolutely is. However, if you're already on the job site and you don't have a table saw in the back of your truck, ya throw the fence in the saw and get to rippin'! 

Ever do it with a router & deep bit ? Doing a pass from each side.

I use Milwaukee M12 & M18 cordless tools.  They’re good quality. I have 11 year old batteries that still hold a decent charge.

I run milwaukee. I've had dewalt, porter cable, makita, ryobi etc in the past. Milwaukee happens to have the best selection in regards to what I use. Im 99.99% cordless, tile saw being corded, thats it. Miter saws, table saw, router and every single other tool all cordless. Nothing like never pulling out a cord anymore. 

My company and I personally own rigid tools. Fairly solid tools, on the job there are a few weak links as we're hard on tools but for a home owner they're excellent. 

 

The LSA warranty, was a no brainer decision for me when I upgraded cordless years ago. If you break a tool,  or even a battery goes bad, send it in and they'll replace free of charge.
