As a Baltimoe Oriole fan it would be best that the season never starts.

Been one since the late 60s. Can’t see I disagree!

These games - at least at Fenway Park - are set up so that the average family of 4 can't go see a game without giving up their 401K plan.

I can't comment on what the cost is at other stadiums around the country, but here in MN to see a Twins game, you can darn near get in for free.  Other than home opener, they rarely sell out.  Heck, the last time I went years ago I paid 5 bucks for a ticket and then dropped 40 more on beer, food, and parking.  Target Field is a relatively new, nice stadium too, but even if someone gave me free tickets I don't think I'd go.  Its 3+ hours of my life I'll never get back.

A hockey game in St Paul is a completely different story.  You can't get a ticket for under 100 bucks.  It would cost you 500 dollars or more to take a family of 4 to see an NHL hockey game there.  That is not affordable for the average family.

Better.  I haven't been to a game but I tune in to bits and pieces of their games and there is a noticeable improvement.

Its going to take a while to bring back the casual Wolves fan though.  They have been so terrible for so long and I think they lost a lot of fans because of it.

I've heard and read a lot lately that explains how bad the owners are acting/negotiating.  And clearly they aren't always considering best interests of fans or long-term viability of baseball.  But SI just posted a pic of a cover from March of 85 with salaries of 36 players making over $1M. (Great list of ballplayers,  btw).  Top 36 player salaries today are over $21M.  That ain't all inflation.
