Gas Prices.....

Featured Replies

I filled the boat up yesterday and no ethanol fuel was around $4.50 a gallon.   At what price do we start seeing people fishing less?   A boat is a luxury item for most, I suppose.

I'm banking on the current economy to get my next boat.

Add .98 in California taxes.

Towing to and from the lakes plus gas burned and it starts to up.

Wow - Minnesota's gas-tax is only .285 - add in the Feds and the total tax is .469 here.

Of course this is the year I'm going from an electric powered canoe to a gas powered boat...just figures that prices would rise.

An extra $10-$15 to fill a tank up right now compared to where we were not to long ago. 2 tanks a week, usually $30 extra for most people...at most. I feel like gas price increases are the most manufacturered of the outrages and hardly anyone ever stops to consider that while it's definitely more money, it's not a lot of money. When people complain about 10, 15, 20 cents I just laugh man. You're talking about what amounts to a gas station coffee price hike.

Economy is good and people who want to work, are.  It will have to get a lot worse before it really impacts fishing.  We still aren't near the prices back in 2008
