I was out yesterday, 2+ hours north of these guys

Water temps were the highest this year at 56 and I saw dozens of fish on beds

 

I'm sure it's mid-late spawn here.

Hoping for a shootout

Surprised to hear it's that far into the spawn.  Should be a fun one to watch.

I agree, lack of current may be contributing. Chickamauga fish regularly spawn into may and sometimes June. Then again it’s supposed to snow Saturday so………

You need to show me that sometime, I’ve seen about 3 on a bed in my whole life 

Wow looks like a 10-0 fish by Schlapper. Can't wait to see the footage on that one.

I have found most beds here are right where you start to lose visibility 

So here, I was seeing them in 3-5 feet

I tried taking a few pictures but that went over like a fart in church

scott martin with a huge day so far with just over 19 pounds including a 9.5lb kicker

I wouldn’t mind seeing Robertson win either, he cracks me up

I guess we will know if that fish bites again, it’s wearing a glide bait for the next few hours haha

He’s pretty good with it , I’d have it wrapped around a branch 30 feet above the water 

Aoki is crushing it today. Love seeing it on the wacky rig too. That rig just straight up works.

Mosley only 12oz behind Aoki, this day is shaping up to be interesting 

Friggin snowed off and on all morning. Fish liked it though 

Seems like finesse was the name of the game today. 
 

Not surprising given the conditions, but a lot of guys were throwing big paddle tails on a jig head today. 

Just saw cliff pirch backreeling a 5+ lbs largemouth. Oh the horror! Couldn’t hear any drag 

Pretty crazy how tough the conditions ended up being. Made things tough on my fantasy team too. Was fun to see which guys adjusted though, cool to see Christie  get another one but was really pulling for Aoki.

Sunday was the only nice weather and subsequently the worst fishing
