Just wondering if anyone else out there can recommend a good pair of sunglasses for us people who have small heads/faces.

 

I find I end up looking like a hornet and I can almost put a entire hand between the lens and my face on 99.9% of sunglasses out there. 

 

I've even bought kids glasses before. But when it comes to fishing specific sunglasses there's even less options. 

Ive only used cheap $20 glasses from anywhere I can find them. 

 

Recommendations?

And have been very happy with ONOS

Come is many styles & SIZES as well as 'readers' which is something I need.

I have been a fan of Smith Sunglasses for quite some time. If you look at their website, they have the frame dimensions with the descriptions. Some frames made for men are also made for women. Only difference is the size of the frame. They also have a great guarantee and warranty as well. 

BPS has many that you can try on to try to eliminate that Asian hornet appearance. Lol

I looked at the links mentioned above and all of the frames - even the small or slim ones - have a distance between the centers of the lenses of 78 - 79 mm . This may take into account any wrap around / curved shape which would help with the appearance but still seems sort of wide ?? You might want to go by some place that sells glasses and try on some to find a pair that fits you . Don't buy them but look somewhere on the inside of the front of the frame and there will be two numbers generally separated by a square box . Remember those numbers and try to find a pair of sunglasses with numbers which are close . ( The first larger number is the width of the lens - the second smaller number is the width between the lenses . )

Oakley Flak Jackets are great.  Very comfortable and lightweight.  They stay put on your face as well, so you dont need a lanyard. 

Costa Brines would be the other pair that I would reccomend.  They hold up a little better compared to the half jackets just because of the full frame design.  Costa offers a couple other smaller frames like the fathoms and white tip but I've never actually seen them in person.

I use amber in low light, early mornigs usually.  Blue in the brightest sun, and Grey just about any time; good for a bit of everything.

It will run you like 80$, but go to a Costco and pick out a pair of glasses frames, say you don't have perscription but want just the frame with the polycarbonate lens polarized (and tell them what color you want) , try the hundreds of frames on and have them tighten or loosen it for you. Glasses come with case and microfiber cloth.  

 

P.S (if you ever scratch the lens you can just take it back and have them replace the polycarbonate lens for like $30)
