No I did not and it’s not me it’s a local guide. Just for references purposes. The smallies jn that river are built though!

    Yak guys talk about preferring them over other water craft, and getting to places others can't, being closer to the water, in touch with nature, blah, blah, blah, but the truth is $.

I bought a kayak to float the smaller rivers around where we live but I ended up using it full time for about two years while my old bass boat was down. I enjoy fishing out of either just as much.

Some key Kayak advantages: Super stealth, can fish the skinniest of water, no registration fees or hassle, can fit as a car topper or in a truck bed, a very eco friendly option, almost zero maintenance cost, etc.
