Did I catch the same fish twice? You decide!

So going through this year's photos this caught my eye.

The above fish was caught on 5/22/22

The following fish was caught on 10/21/22. Look at the markings near the tail, and on the gill plate. Note the torn lip. Both were caught in the same acre of water.

So. Same fish? I'm probably 95% sure. Wanted some opinions.

Hooked a bass on Senko...got him to the boat...and broke off.

20 minutes later caught a bass...boated him...and found my Senko and hook in his mouth  : )

I had a co-worker that recommended a spot to me where he had caught fish recently. He also told me that his wife had broken one off. I caught fish there and one of them had a hook in it. I took the hook to him and he confirmed that it was the exact same type of hook she was using.

Looks like same fish. I broke off a plastic craw in a bass I visually saw by an old railroad pier. I fish this same pier everytime I go to this water just hoping I can remove that craw from his mouth. Bothers me to no end. This big largie was just under the surface looking confused with the jig in the side of his mouth.

No doubt. That is not the smartest bass in the pond, but that's the kind we fish for! The dummies!

I’d say that craw is long gone from mister largie, it doesn’t take long

It also makes it so I caught my first meanmouth in May instead of last week lol. Wild that it's a meanmouth I caught twice, of all things. they are aggressive little things though. This is in a cove at Lake Ray Roberts
