I disagree, wait , theres a squirrel scratching at my back-door , I have to go throw it some peanuts .

Some humans act like ostriches in that they stick their heads in the ground to avoid anything they don’t like or are afraid of. The one animal that will survive us all though is the cockroach. 

it's popular to look down on humanity these days, but i disagree with that.  mankind has done some pretty cool stuff since we've been on this planet.  sure, we've done plenty that's terrible too,  but that's why we need Jesus.  as for the way people are these days? it sure seems that we have taken a bad turn.  however, if you look at the advancements we've made in the last 200 years,  it's really not a big surprise to see us struggle with the massive changes we have gone through as a species in such a short amount of time.  it's only natural.  to get an idea of what i'm talking about, watch this:
