Does anyone have any luck throwing red jerk baits (like the Megabass Spawn Killer color)? If so, under what conditions?

I’m also interested in this.  A while back I asked if anyone dipped into the limited release versions like spawn killer. I’m contemplating buying a couple of these colors off eBay.

Spawn killer produces for me but both clown and perch are better.

And cheaper.

In the clear water I fish, seem to do well with Bone or a semi transparent body with blue on the back...... suspending that is.

 

I just bought ordered one along with other red baits to try out in a week or two when I get out on the water for the first time in 2023.  It will be my first time giving red a try in the spring.  

 

I've had some good luck with the ditch weed and merthiolate flash 6th Sense Provokes.
