Western Wa, spotlock or powerpole?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I wanted to try to get some input from the PNW guys. I am picking up my Bass tracker classic xl in May and I was wondering if I should go with spot lock or power poles? I only have enough to get one or the other.  I am doing research right now but thought I'd get some opinions! lol

Thanks!

I had power poles.  They were nearly worthless to me.  Most of the time my boat is over deeper water than the length of the poles.  I now have a trolling motor with spot lock.  It is lots better.  Spot lock jog is the best thing that I have ever seen on a trolling motor.
