9.8 lbs. what a fight on a 2500 spinning reel. And a10lb leader.   My bud got a  16.75!

    We have a lake that's famous for strippers " Smith mountain " , more fisherman pursue them than LM bass.

    I've never caught one but heard

    They put up quite the fight.
