Honor The Moms

With mother's day coming up Sunday, I always felt it was important to honor and pay respect to the mothers.                 Being a mom is a tough, sometimes thankless job. Moms are the ones who are usually in the trenches at home.                                                Taking care of sick children in the middle of the night. Packing lunches for school. Helping with homework, and wearing themselves out taking care of the family and the home.           The old saying," a woman's work is never done", was made for mother's.                  We owe them a big thank you for all they've done through the years. Honor the mom's on Mother's Day. Try and make it a special day for them. They deserve it.

I definitely missed my mother yesterday.  She passed away about 5 years ago. It was good though to spend time with my wife and let her know how lucky we are as a family to have her.

I also saw this yesterday and it reminded me of how goofy my mother was. Good stuff.

My Mom died over twenty years ago and I still miss her.  She was a teenager when she had me and I remember how beautiful she was. She had a tough life, but never let it get her down.  As a child, she read Bible stories to me and always told me she was going to meet me in heaven.   When I get there, she'll be the first person I look for.  ?
