Need a new Casting Rod

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I recently broke my Googan Gold Muscle rod and am looking for a new rod for bass

Anything under $200 is preferred

I usually fish for Snakeheads and bass with frogs, swim jigs, and the occasional swim bait

Another thing is a longer rod butt that’s split grip

If you guys have any good suggestions please tell me

Check out the closeouts on the St Croix Mojo Bass line. Great rod, now at a great price. Was redesigned so stores are getting rid of the current model before the new model makes an appearance.

You need to be more specific; length, power and action.

What reel, line and lure weights???

Tom

Falcon Lowrider. That mother lover is tough as nails and quite sensitive for $130.

Shimano Zodias. A hair above $200 if you can stretch or find a deal. I bought a "mint" condition one off ALF for $140 and it is definitely a brand new rod

My fav at the moment too. I like the softer tips.

When, and what power, length, and action? I traded in a 6'10" M/MF that was brand new to replace a rod someone broke very, very recently.

Bought it ~3mos ago. It was the 6'10" MH F

Dobyns Kaden 715C not split grip but it's good for the price, SLX A or Intenza on sale at TW!
