interesting how Turkey soup is so different than Chicken soup.

on paper, I would imagine they come out similar. but they couldn't be more different.  I am simmering away my turkey carcass(s), and my house is perfumed by the smell of a wonderful broth!! I should end up with a lot of broth!!  I'll make a rice porridge with some immediately, and freeze the rest of it for various uses.  

 

I probably like the stuff I make with the stock, almost equally as much as I enjoy the actual Thanksgiving dinner itself!!  I usually grab my BIL's turkey carcass as well, but this year I didn't make it to his home to eat.    and I didnt get any Hambone this year..boooo!!!  no hambone beans.  boo!!

Balut is a hard no for me.  

 

chicken feet.  no problem.  we call it Fung Twai.  "Dragons Claw" as an international PR campaign.

That's like comparing lamb to venison, to me. Yeah, they're different animals. Duck and Cornish game hens all taste different from chicken too.

 

Possom though, tastes like chicken. Ask Russ.
