Tacklewarehouse has this as clearance and Sunline has it marked to $11.99. Is this line being discontinued?  
I was going to order some from Sunline but they want to charge $23 for shipping…

Maybe they are reformulating it or changing the packaging. This happened to Machine-gun Cast, which was a good thing. 

 

It's great line but pricey.  I hope it has not been discontinued.

Not bad. It's not as long lasting as Defier Armilo and it's brown but I like it for crankbaits and some topwater. It does cast really well and has good knot strength.

They're doing away with Dbraid too.  Always wanted to try it, but never got around to it.  Supposed to excellent.

Is it possible Morizo Shimizu is no longer with Sunline? Did he retire?

I hope it stays...slowly been converting my bottom contact rods to all armilo. Going to have to start the search again if not.

I use the Sunline Defier Armilo as my topwater line of choice south of the border. (19/22 lb)

During your search - check out Maxima Ultragreen Line.

IMO just about on par with the sunline offering.

Recommend going DOWN a test as the Ultragreen seems sort of over tested,

diameter wise. So I use 8 when I would normally use 10 (especially in FC) and I use 6lb when I would normally use 8 lb.

But is every other respect provides everything a basshead needs & wants in a quality mono.  Mainline or leader.

@A-Jay Thanks for the recommendation. That line was actually on my list to test at one point but the Armilo worked so well I never do. The Ultragreen and a Suffix offering or 2 are on my list if Armilo goes away.

 

By the way....where do I get some of that Infinity # test Big Game????
