It’s Shimano’s new Balance-X technology. You can stuff weights in there to balance your rods. Too bad their rods are already balanced well.

 

Would maybe be better on their Loomis rods lol.

See I don't know if you're just kidding or that's real. That's the problem with these "fancy" marketing terms Shimano and Daiwa came up with.

Yeah I was kidding, but Shimano could definitely do something like that and some folks would buy it lol. Until Daiwa puts a hole in the butt of a Steez rod and calls it Super Hyper Balance

d**n I was hoping the spinning reel seat/grip from the Ultima would trickle down. Looks like we’ll have to wait another cycle?

 

Hopefully they add in a 276 spinning model over time if not it’s the time to pick up some more before they’re all sold out

You can get that grip on the Glorious.  The poison glorious sticks are amazing.. my favorite line of rods.
