Pictures rotating

Featured Replies

Whenever I post pictures it automatically rotates them 90 degrees. When selecting it, it shows up correctly but once I post it, boom sideways. I don't see any options to rotate it. Has anyone else had this issue?

I tried rotating them 90 degrees before posting, and it keeps it rotated.

Perplexed.

Mine started rotating.  These were cell phone photos.  I email photos from my cell to my laptop and was letting my phone resize them before sending the email.  When I started sending them photos full size instead of resizing when sending they quit rotating.   I resize them on my lap top now, and there's no rotating.

I’ve had this happen sometimes too. It appears to be selected properly, and then when I post it’s sideways. I haven’t found a way to correct it either so I just leave it sideways.

EDITED

I was using an iPhone & was taking landscape oriented photos with the bottom of the phone to my left. Making sure the bottom of the phone was facing to my right fixed the issue. The camera lens should never be on the bottom when taking a photo, regardless of orientation (portrait/landscape).

It happened to the last photo I posted.

Mine too. I also email them from my phone to the laptop (like said above) to re-size there and it also rotated for me.

If it’s n iPhone it’s a fairly well known issue, has to do with how the phone saves the pics when taken. If you do a little searching on the net you’ll find fixes for it. I don’t use an iPhone so I can’t help.

I have a Samsung phone. The photo I took and posted just before the one I posted above came out fine.

All my browsing is done on an Android. It would be cool if a rotate picture option was added on the server end.
