New BFS baitcasting reel.

 

Well, if I ever forget where I misplaced the reel cover, at least my wife will know where it is.😬😁😄😯

 

The reel is the Loongze Airlite B101 HG BFS reel. The manufacturer was about to name the reel, Uranus. But a few testers who received test/review reels, convinced the manufacturer to change the reel name. I had a very good LOL when I saw the neoprene reel case, and showed my wife.

Maybe need to have a to talk with marketing. 
How’d the reel work? Posts few more pics of ya can. 

LOL, but seriously, this is a classic case of Chinese manufacturers have little ideas of Western culture or market.

Yup. I also have the Hundo. Found out both spools are interchangeable. So I can use the Hundo as a BFS reel.

Uranus is a planet.  It could be worse.  They could be making names that are plays on English words like you see in the Chinease bike parts world like fooker or fucare.  Also, there is a DC low profile from this company.

My favorite part of the Uranus reel cover is the Klingon Velcro closure

Exactly. I wouldn't feel weird about that at all. However, no way I'd have a reel named Myanus though. "Hey, take a look at Myanus". Nope.

Yes.  

The reel cover above copies Daiwa cover for LP reels (not my favorite).  

 

My all-time favorite reel cover is Tailwalk, which is easy to install with one hand while holding the rod.  It's especially nice on round reels.

Yes it is. The spools on the Bates Hundo and the Loongze Airlite BFS are interchangeable.
