I had the 2 shot vaccine a year or 2 ago.  I was fine after the first one, but had chills and a slight fever for a day or so after the 2nd one.   My Mom had the shingles and it wasn't good.

Got it.

I got shingles when I was 24.... Yes 24.

 

It was bad. The pain was awful.  I had it on my back then across my stomach, chest, and right shoulder.  I still have a few scars from it. When I got it, it came on quick and the pain caused me to pass out at work.  It made for a fun day. It took about two months to get it fully out of my system. 

Shingles is miserable! I had it just before Christmas a few years ago - knocked me out for most of the holidays. 

I am old and just had a rash for several days. Was dam lucky.👍
