Will the color white work good for bass and pike

Featured Replies

I just bought a bunch of 4' and 5', white paddle tails for pike and bass and plan to run them for bass and pike but I got to thinking there are really not any white bait fish up here in Northern ny. Any ideas on if they'll work or not or should I try another color?

They should work just fine. We split hairs over color all the time, but the reality is that most of the time it probably doesn't matter. In any case, I'm sure you have crappie, shiners, brook silverside minnows, or something like that swimming around.

White is a good color in almost all waters. Especially tanic or off color water. Welcome to BR.

White / Pearl / Bone all seem to be universal.

Yes, absolutely.  I'm in SE Ontario and do very well on white paddletails, on either a jig head/ball head or an Owner Flashy Swimmer underspin.
