Gents (and ol’ crickety),

A Zorro short arm spinnerbait with a power worm cut down as a trailer skips. I did not know this was possible.

Happy dock fishing,

Shad

Love the Zorro short arm- the weed guard gives me the confidence to fish it in brush.  I've pitched it, but haven't tried skipping it.

The short arm aggravator  is a great night bait.

I have had luck with Colorado spinnerbaits with swimbait trailers.  Water can definitely get ripply and backlash you but you can also definitely skip under trees.  I had a day where the only fish I caught was this way with Jake last year and since then it's caught me a couple (need to do it more).

I havent used one in a long time. I can remember a day in early spring, I put a green pork frog on a white aggravator with the weed guard  retrieved  it up to some brush , kill it letting it helicopter down. Hammered them. I used a green frog because a friend told me the color-c-lector indicated green.

While this wasn’t meant to be a thread to sing the praises of the Zorro short arm, I do love them. My night spinnerbait of choice. They are effective while BOB is still out, too.
