I am trying smack down right now for frogs, it seems good. I’m also trying the 8 carrier XPS bass pro shops braid and that stuff has been great! Inexpensive, good overall performance, no complaints at all.

 

I still love power pro and it’s a go to line for me. Another that I like that you don’t hear much about anymore is Tufline XP, similar to power pro in feel and performance.

Diawa J Braid 8  in gray.  May not be popular, but works for me, and the price is lower than many other braids.  I don't understand why a black lure shows up on the surface better than any other color, but in order to make a line less visible you need to color it black.  I think a lighter line such as gray is less visible to a bass looking towards the sky.  Looking down black may be less visible, but the techniques where I fish braid I'm not concerned about the bass seeing my line anyway.

I’ve been using 40-50lb power pro for forever. No need to change 

The sunline fx2 is good stuff, hard to beat power pro imo though.

The Vicious Moss Green Braid certainly is priced right ! If it doesn't fade , handles well and is strong - then it might be worth a try ...

The regular braid and the no fade are 2 different lines.

Big fan of Sunline FX2 here, have it on both my frog rods. 832 is always a good choice too

I have been using Daiwa J-Braid Grand x8 lately in 50# and 65# depending which reel I grab. I've used several other braids over the years though and most of them largely all behave similarly minus maybe noise passing through the guides. Regular Power Pro or Maxcuatro or Sufix 832 also work.
