How many setups do you own?

Featured Replies

I have WAY more than I would ever need or use and have been selling a few here and there or giving them away to family and friends.

I guess I have just become a bit of a rod and reel geek. Lately I prefer clean older used stuff. In fact I have another old LH TD Fuego on its way to the house that had popped up on the auction site. Another recent pickup was a clean old Chronarch 51mg

If I HAD to estimate, I'd say I'm around 50 casting setups and 24 or more spinning setups plus an additional 12-15 loose casting reels and a handful of spinning reels. Sitting on or around the work bench.

35-40, with several spare rods and spare reels.

I have 9 casting rods and 10 reels. I just broke a rod ☹️. But am always looking for more.

12 baitcaster

2 spinning

I have too many rods and reels I don’t use. I really should just donate them somewhere.

With this line of thought, I have 1 spinning rod, 1 fly rod, and 5 or 6 casting rods with spare rods and reels in all categories. :) 😁
