How many jig/worm rods do you fish with?

I mean technically a ned rig is a jig worm setup.  Its a mushroom head jig with a plastic worm on it.

I have two of these but I try not to use it.  If that's how I'm fishing, the bite must be slow.

Columbia. I’ve found all of the small lakes near me awful to fish. They are overgrown and unless you’re fishing the surface impossible to present lures properly. I joined FOBA a MD bass club and they have been awesome.

I’ve tried heading to Triadelphia as well but not a lot of luck. Since I’m stuck on the bank my options are pretty limited unless I’m fishing a tourney with the club.

i fish the electric only lakes around baltimore. loch raven, liberty, prettyboy. maybe i can get you out on those lakes in my boat. alot of grass in those as well but in the boat its much easier. fishing can be tough but you can have really good days too.do your bass clubs fish tidal?

Yes, my first event was on the Potomac. My boater had a great day but I skunked hard. I’d never fished tidal for bass.

Anytime you have the space I’d be happy to pitch in for costs to go fishing.

I start out the trip fishing with 3 bottom contact rigs.  One bottom jig, one Texas rigged, and one spinning rigged up for finesse fishing.  Most of the time, this will change depending on what happens when I get to the water,

I normally have one of each. The worm rod is the same no matter the depth I plan to fish; Quantum Tournament Grade MH and what I consider a Mod/Fast. My jig rods vary. For pitching, I like my 7ft. 3in.Browning Boron/Graphite, MH it has a fairly fast action with just enough flex in the tip section for pitching. If I'll be casting, be it a football, or Arkie jig, it's either a 7ft. St.Croix Premier H/Fast (Fluoro), or a 7ft. Mojo H/Fast for braid.  These are older, moderately priced rods with plenty of sensitivity for this retired basser.

You seldom hear Quantum mentioned when it comes to rods.  I bought (on closeout) a Tour Edition 7' MF and 6'10" HF and a 6'10" HF SuperLite.  I like them.  Already had a Smoke Inshore 7' MF which is a pretty light rod.  I'm not fond of the very short handle on this rod since I prefer 2-handed casting.

For me jig and worm rods are not the same.

I've had many jig rods, from NRX to very basic rods.  My favorite right now and for the last couple of years has been the Zodias  7' 3'' H - Fast.

Not counting weightless TR, I’d say I always have two rigs set up for jigs and/or Texas rigs. Primary is a Kistler Helium TCJ (Texas/Carolina/Jigs) MH/F and secondary is a Falcon Lowrider All-‘Round Fast MH/F. Both can be used with jigs or TR (I rarely use 3/8 oz. weights on TR and rarely use 1/2 oz. jigs), but the Kistler really shines dragging jigs or worms through wood.

This weekend I will be trying the AJ Special (swimjig Texas rig) on the Kistler.

5'6" Lamiglas MH w/pistol grip for pinnpoint casting

7'6" Loomis flippin stick for grass & upright timber

3- 7' Loomis GLX MH

2-Loomis 6'6" Med spinning

I'm pretty sure every rod I have has had a worm or jig tied on at one time or other.

I keep a couple on the deck pretty much all the time.

I use my Daiwa Steez 7'5" MH-H/F Bottom Contact rod for most jigs.

I use my Daiwa Tatula Elite 7' M-MH/XF for T-rigs and lighter finesse jigs. It throws them decently weightless too.

Sometimes I use my 6'10" Daiwa Tatula MH/F or 7'1" Tatula MH/XF for T-Rigs if I need a little more power, or my Steez Bottom contact if I'm not using it for jigs.

The St Croix Victory 7'3" H/XF "Full Contact Finesse" rod is a pretty significant upgrade in the St Croix line over the Mojo Bass Jig and bait rod for only a little more money and probably like 98% as good as much Steez.

I've been looking a bunch and am highly interested in the X-bites for lighter stuff.

Much cheaper direct from Japan compared to say an NRX.

Not sure what to get for heavier baits. Can only get one right now anyways.
