You are far from the truth. You recently said you had notes and memoirs of a lot of your back woods trips. Areas with less human activity. Areas where a canoe much less than any boat has ever been. I think stories and adventures you’ve had are probably more interesting. If a write like that is a passion of yours, I’d say go for it. 

Do Shaky Heads snag less than Neds?

Any variation of  "little worm on a jighead" is worth fishing -- no accident that these account for 3 of the spots on the list.

Most definitely, the traditional ned rig is open hook, but there are ewg ned heads around today.
