Tackleholic Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Somewhere, maybe here, I saw a picture of a seat(?) that was made for standing and leaning back against, not for sitting; it served as a tall brace. Are any of you familiar with this? Quote

Super User gim Posted January 7 Super User Posted January 7 I think @TOXIC has one on his boat in the front. Its a lean-to style seat. I think he is buried under some snow at the moment though so don't expect a photo for a while. 1 Quote

kschultz76 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I have the Millenium Palma horse on the front of my PT175. Love it, best front casting seat I’ve ever had. Have gone through several styles of casting seat on my father’s boat over the years. It is meant to mount flat like in the picture of it on the boat in use. Is it possible this Springfield seat is what you saw? It does pivot to 90 deg. https://springfieldgrp.com/product/1040355-kpc/ 3 1 Quote
Susky River Rat Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I just use a regular butt seat by tempress. When I want to lean I turn it around so the backside is facing me. Quote

Super User Solution TOXIC Posted January 7 Super User Solution Posted January 7 I responded to the message. Mine is the Springfield one. It was offered through Ranger at one time. Out of production now. on edit, it looks like you can still get them through Springfield. Quote

My dad has a similar one so when I run the boat I spin it to the flatter back side as a lumbar support. Quote

He also has a nearby source who will custom make something similar for me. Quote

My dad has a similar one so when I run the boat I spin it to the flatter back side as a lumbar support. I have both as you can see in the picture. I have moved my padded seat to the front because when we installed my Ghost trolling motor and took my Fortrex off, the foot pedal is much farther back in the recessed tray and I only have one hole for the pedestal seat and not 2 like the newer boats. I liked the leaning seat but now I can straddle the padded seat and it helps me with the foot peddle placement. I also now have the remote for the ghost but I’m still on the fence with it. It reacts a little too slow for me. 2 Quote
