Crush City Moonch Minnow

Featured Replies

Have any of you guys used this yet, and what are your thoughts on it?

Thanks

It has a unique action with the tail design. In addition to the jig n minnow, I really like it as a bladed jig trailer or on a scrounger head.

X2 ^^ Also really nice and subtle on a underspin

That’s what I was thinking about using it was an underpin. Thanks for sharing that.

It catches fish even without FFS. I bought a few packs last january at a fishing show and have done pretty good with them.

Did get a couple on it today, here's the best one shaking.  Didn't get a pic of the one on an underspin, a northland tackle 1/2oz 2/0.

It’s a good bait, really versatile! Can shake it, swim it, Ned it. Like the others have said, it has a nice tight tail wiggle when used like a swimbait. They last until you get broken off or get bored with it, especially when you put it on a jighead with a little dab of super glue.

I like the Freeloaders by Crush City a lot, too

The freeloader is a really good trailer for just about everything. I've used it on swim jig, chatter baits, and spinnerbaits and caught fish on all of them!

Finally got on the water and had a chance to use these. Looked really good on a Range Roller jighead, but didn't catch anything on a minnow that day. I also used them as a trailer for a spinnerbait. It looked great and had nice action, but I was unimpressed by the durability. Seemed like the tails ripped off much easier than other plastics, especially other elaztech type baits.

I like them. I have used them as a bladed jig trailer and just by themselves with a jig head.

I hate to admit it but so far I have liked just about everything in the Crush City line despite the fact they copied one of my favorite baits,  the OSP DoLive Beaver.  I know it happens all the time but it gets old. With that said,  the Bronco Bug (the copy) is a really good bait as well.
