Experience with Interstate Lithium?

Featured Replies

I continue my contemplation of lithium TM batteries.  I prefer to buy them from a brick and mortar so that limits my choices considerably.  I've heard nothing but bad things about the Bass Pro lithiums.  I know the Interstate lead batteries get mixed reviews, including posts I've made about them myself.  I had a pair of the lead deep-cycle Interstate batteries last me barely more than a year but my Interstate cranking battery is original to the boat and turns 10 years old sometime this year.  Has anyone tried, or even heard reviews, of the Interstate lithiums?  My googling is turning up very little.

Their specs are good.  Interstate has 100ah in a size 24 that has a reserve capacity of 240 minutes and a 10 year warranty.  Sounds good on paper, but a lot of things sound good on paper.  Please share if you've got some knowledge.  Thank you

Personally - since I've had such good luck with my Mighty Max AGMs, if I upgraded to Lithium I'd stick with them. Since you can order through Home Depot with a ship-to-store option, you have carry-in support with them. Only a 2 year warranty, but I've still heard lots of good things about MM's LiFePo4 batteries.

How much is that Interstate lithium?  I know you said brick and mortar but I just bought this battery https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ395FTR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

and have been very impressed with it after a couple outings.  I test the battery charge throughout the day and it has barely moved from 13.35-38.  This battery was highly recommended to me from someone from another forum and if you read the reviews they are very good.

I've heard good things about them.  I wasn't aware the prices have dropped so low.  I'd be really interested in a 5 year review.

Lithium batteries have dropped so much in price that I installed a lithium approved onboard charger on my boat just 2 weeks ago in anticipation for the upgrade.

90% of my lead acid deep cycle batteries over the years have been Interstate, never an issue.

Just looked through Amazon for lithium batteries and found this.  $123 for a 100ah lifepo4 battery.  3 years ago I paid $300 for a 50ah lithium and a 10a charger.  I don't have to charge it but every  3rd day I use it.

The seller only has 6 reviews but 83% of them are 1 star.
