I got my email yesterday morning. Subject line was the same as FishTank said. 

It's also casting rods only, which is sad.

Just my luck the model I want, the 7’2 heavy power pitch is out of stock. Price increase happens on Tuesday. Maybe a miracle will happen and they’ll restock on Monday? 😂 yeah I think not.

My understanding from speaking to Ben from the video I posted is that Daiwa intends on discontinuing any items that don’t sell well. Slight chance that’s just him being a salesman but given the fact that in the video he says the Steez AGS rod isn’t worth buying at $700 I tend to think he’s telling the truth.

They may just not carry them going forward. They're not carrying the new Adrena after clearing out the last one.

I’m seeing Megabass items going up in price too. I don’t mind finding domestic alternatives for some things but their SV-3 spinnerbait I consider irreplaceable in my arsenal alongside the 110. Used to be 11.99 or 12.99 pretty much everywhere. Tackle warehouse has them for 15 bucks now. Probably only a matter of time before the 110 goes up too, especially with the recent announcement of 25 percent tariffs on Japan.
