So is this daiwa steez stuff worth the money. I will not be purchasing any of it, but good lord it be exspensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That depends on who you talk to. ;D IMHO I think it is....besides, you always get what you pay for. Ask Redlinerobert, he will give ya the scoop on the Steez outfit. It is the lightest baitcaster I have ever held in my hand. The whole rod and reel combo comes in at under 9 oz. If you want a bass outfit that weighs as much as an ultralight trout rod, than this is for you. ;D

hey guys I got the steez lucky to find it to since daiwa has it backordered until the end of march to the middle of april.  Its my first baitcasting reel so I dont know too much about any others but I will tell you this, you do get what you pay for, and it only took me 6 hours to learn how to cast it.

I have 3 of them.  They are the cream of the crop.

The rods are also pretty amazing.

other than the weight what is so great about them???  :-? I love diawa reels i own a few of them and plan on buying more!! I am lookin at the steez but i have to pay my school loan off??  :-/

I had a chance to play with a friend's Steez baitcaster and it is a very nice reel. However, I don't think it was worth the high price. I would rather purchase another Shimano Calais. This is not to say, it is not a sweet reel but personally I like the Calais better. If weight was an issue the Steez would be the best choice.

I have a Calais. The Steez will cast much farther and has a much more precise feel.  I would say the Zillion is a much better match to the Calais and in my opinion, a much better reel than the Calais.

Compared to MegaBass and some of the custom built rods...Steez rods are a bargain.

i was lookin at the steeze reel it looked killer .... but i picked up 2 zillions instead .... and those zillions are sweet too  ;D

I just loooked at the zillions today and they are def good enough for me!! i prob will get two of those for the price of one steez!!! def a better buy in my opinion!!!

If you like the Steez and the Zillion...pick up a Sol and play with it......you will fall in love with it.  I trying to find an Alphas...if not, a Sol will be coming home with me.  Also a Zillion......variety is the spice of life  ;D

ya the sol and the fuego are both sweet reels i am a fan of diawa reels  ;D I have the viento and love it!!!! i've picked up a sol and loved it sooner or later i will deff have the sol and the zillion for sure!!!!
