I run a high low rig for rockfish.  the bottom hook is a whole squid.  the top hook, is a shrimpy looking jig.  got me thinking..I bet an undulating beaver would looks sexy and yummy.

wish I had some pinks or crazy bright colors.   what is the Berkeley knock off to the Dolive Beaver?

It would work for sure! There's a guy on YouTube who fishes the ocean with Dolive Beavers.

What’s the clone called?

Noooooo clones, man!! Don't do it! LOL 😆

Clone is Crush City Bronco Bug.

Practically any plastics work for rockfish, I usually prefer to use the cheap

plastics I can find on sale for $1.  A few years ago I found a ton of zoom 4” grubs for sale at $0.50 a pack, I think I bought around 40-50 packs and have been my staple rockfish bait since.

I’m sure they will work.  But I’d pick a plastic that is far more durable.  A true senko, a bronco bug, or a few others are not durable.  I’d pick something like an original brush hog or another zoom plastic.  Maybe even some elastec.

You can try the Crush City Bronco Bug in Pearl White and get the Spkie It Dip to make a few bright colors. The Bronco Bugs are now $8 a pack. I might be off but I thought they were $6 a pack when they came out.

The DoLive Beavers are $10.99. Crazy but I tend to catch more fish with them.  Down side,  they tear easy. I think they came in saltwater colors at one time. OSP does have the Dolive Shrimp and the Dolive Craw. I have gotten saltwater colors in both of these. They will come in a light blue bag to denote that it is for saltwater.

What about a brush hog? Kinda looks squidish, no?
