it's true. This could be great depending on management.

Does BPS have anything in direct competition with Hobie?   John L has bought many boat lines that competed with his aluminum, glass and center consoles.  All of them except for Ranger and Triton have gone away.

Like everything……..

This may be good news as they will be relocating production from Mexico back to the US in Missouri.

 

Hobie seems to have been struggling the past few years, including dropping their kayak bass series.

Whelp, we shall see. Best buddy of mine, and his wife, both worked for Cabela's for 30+ years when BPS purchased. It was just a matter of time. 

 

I hope Hobie fares better...

 

Is what it is. Buddy and wife are in a great place now. Past is the past.
